The adage "Time is Money"
is more true today than it has ever been. And there's
a very good chance that your company is expecting you to be more productive - getting more
things done
in less time, often with fewer resources.
When it comes to repairs, our Online Tracking System can help.
By giving you more control over your repairs, reducing the time and paperwork
needed to manage and track your repairs, and giving instant access to the status and
history of your repairs, the Online Tracking System makes you more efficient and
more effective.
The Online Tracking System allows you to select the way we communicate with
you. You can specify email, fax, or phone. When we receive your repair, we'll use
your preferred method of communication to confirm that we have your repair.
When your repair has been evaluated, we'll once again use your preferred method
of communication to provide a quotation. After the quotation has been created, it remains
available to you on our web site and can be accessed at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week.
When your repair is completed, the Online Tracking System will notify you.
At any time, day or night, you can use the Online Tracking System to check
the status of your repairs and view a history of your repairs.
There's even a "Quick Look Up" module that allows your personnel
to easily see if a repair has been completed and delivered - something that
is very handy for off-shift maintenance personnel. Let's say that we repaired and returned
a Flo-Tork actuator to you on repair ticket #104490, but your receiving
personnel
didn't have time to process it before the end of their shift or just
plain misplaced the actuator.
During the second shift, a machine goes down and your maintenance
personnel need to replace an actuator. With the Online
Tracking System, they visit our web site, click on the "On Line Tracking
System" link (on the left side of this page), and enter the ticket number
(104490). Without the Online Tracking System, your off-shift personnel wouldn't have
known the actuator
had been delivered until the next business day. With the Online Tracking
System, your off-shift personnel could track down the actuator and get your machine
running.
The Online Tracking System also maintains a history of your repairs. You'll
be able to easily see how many times a particular component has been repaired,
which will help you identify problem production areas that need to be fixed.
There are two versions of the Online Tracking System. The version our customers
use is included as part of our repair service. There's no cost for you to log
on, check the status of your repairs, view a history of your repairs, or generate
reports about your repairs. Use of the Online Tracking System is a "value-added"
service you'll receive when you allow us to do your repairs.
The second version of the Online Tracking System is used by companies,
distributors, and repair shops to manage their repairs (the same way we use
it). If you're interested in the second version of the Online Tracking System,
we'll be happy to set you up for a 3 month free trial. Just contact us and
we'll get you started.
